# Mesh optimization

By default, AI-generated meshes might be optimized. Too many faces, too many land prims and an expensive upload cost.

Let's choose a lower **Mesh quality level** to reduce the number of faces. The quality should still be good, but the land impact should be much lower.

Great! The quality is still great, while **Land prims** and **Upload cost** have been reduced by half!
